Any doubts I had were erased after watching the last few short range models runs (RAP and HRRR). I’m deploying to the Chatham VA vicinity (U.S. Rte 29) by 8 a.m. tomorrow morning to intercept this:

The supercell composite parameter ramps up rapidly after 9 a.m. and the significant tornado parameter isn’t bad either. The shear is incredible, meaning any breaks in the approaching squall line will be very interesting to observe.
Not sure how far east we’ll chase but I’d bet we’re done before noon. Heading to bed soon!
