I thought we might luck out and get a cell or two worth viewing this evening but the Northern VA radar remains stubbornly clear. However, given the SPC Day 3 (Saturday) and Day 4 (Sunday) convective projections it appears that the likelihood of a chase is pretty decent this weekend. Given that the summer doldrums and the “3 H’s” (hazy, hot, and humid) are nearly upon us this may be the last frontal passage for a few weeks with enough kick to punch up some strong storms. I’ll be watching!
